under 8s 3 games against Littleborough

zzzzz zzzzzz zzzzz Whats that noise ?
I think its the under 8`s tag team all asleep in their first match.
Rossendale demolished 6-2 by a good Littleborough side.
Rossendale tries coming from new boys Rory and Patrick.

Rather the their heads go down for the rest of the day, each and everyone of them woke up,all realising they had all just had the same dream,a not so good first game.

Match 2 against Littleboroughs 2nd U8 side all eager to mirror what their first U8s had just done to Rossendale.
Rossendale had woken up and started to play as a team,looking for the right pass chosing the right run - gaps in the littleborough defence.This saw the introduction of new signing Sebastian in his first game receive the ball from his own half and run 3/4 length of the pitch scoring his first try he so well deserved.
Players started to click and support each other,the defensive line improving,Shaun always waiting to pounce ready for the whistle to be blown to explode out of the starting blocks,.realising that 6 tags from the opposite teams belts resulted in a turnover and the ball back with Rossendale, all players taking tags hungry for the ball back none more so than Rory taking 6 tags in a row - yes 6 in a row.
Rossendale back in play a short burst from Charlie before being tripped by a littleborough player,Charlie gives a tremendous pass whilst lay on the floor to Marcus who dodges the defence going on to score his first of 2 tries in this game.
The players knew a win could be on the cards each player wanting the ball but stood like a `bunch of grapes` "spread out" is the word from the side line "spread out" finally they get it right scoring more tries from Patrick,Charlie,Cameron and Spencer.
Rossendale winners 6-5 and the best performance this year so far, WELL DONE BOYS.
All now surely with tired legs,the offer of lunch or a third game was on offer - food im thinking,the team having already played 40 mins of rugby on a warm autumn morning,with no rest and the Littleborough side with half there squad fresh having rested, "ANOTHER GAME I HEAR" obviously pumped up from their well deserved win.
So out they go again Littleborough fancy their chances with fresh legs ,Rossendale playing more as a team, Oliver running forward driving their defense deaper into their own half, gaining the yards getting nearer to the try line ready to off load the ball to the right player in support Henry,Spencer and Shaun all showing that the team can win again,and win we did with tries from Rory (2) Charlie and Sebastian 4-3 winners
with a very close call for man of the match with all players showing determination and support, man of the match went to the new boy who hadnt even trained with the team prior to this match Sebastian, well done
