Deciding point in Rossendale favour !

A truly fantastic all round team effort saw our under 8s avenge memories of a Spring drubbing by Bolton. The team spirit and fighting quality pushed them over the line in the narrowest of victories but it was excellent to see real signs of positive team play - good passing and handling, great support play, tenacious tagging and some great defending. Rossendale ran in 11 tries to 10, Dan Stevens led from the front with 4 , with Ieuan Bissell , and Tom Leech chipping in with 2 each, along with one from Tom Whitaker and debut tries for Luke Entwistle and Michael Bailey. A great team display, the whole team contributed to a memorable performance and we need to use this as a platform to kick on for the rest of the season.
