Off with a bang

What a fantastic start to the season by the under 9's. Rossendale opened the match with George scoring in the corner, but this was short lived as Bury were equally as determined and by half time led by 3 tries to 2. However heads did not go down and Oliver seemed to get a second wind and scored two great tries. Harry took the hard yards and Sam Green had his dancing feet to score in the corner. Every member of the team played very well for their first ever game of tackling and both sides made it a great game. My apologies to Bury for having an extra man in the first half, I need to learn to count ! A bit of shouting at the ref which we need to nip in the bud, but everyone played well and they all won best player as it was too difficult to judge.
