Another Win for the Mighty 9's

This was a fantastic game and close to one of our best performances with some excellent defense. George had a warrior performance finishing with a black eye and some bruises fantastic detrmination and a try to show for his efforts.
With Oliver M. missing Will G showed that he can also tackle at pace and with his dancing feet converted two tries and played very well !!
Great to see our Sam back with another great dogged performance and a try to boot. He tackles well above his weight and leads by example.
Man of the match was to our new lad Morgan who on his debut scored a great try and gave us some breathing space.... a well deserved man of the match performance.
Josh keeps making steady progress and is tackling better than ever. Derek (Smilie) played very well and made some excellent yards. He is always keen to get the ball and is very determined. The same goes for Callum who during one sprint for the try line showed glimses of his true potential...
Our other rock Oliver C. showed huge improvement in his tackling and won many yards with opposition still attached to him !
Jude had his best game against Dukinfield playing for them, and this week showed how much he has improved gaining a lot of ball and making some great runs....keep it up!
Mauling was much better and Rossendale out muscled Ashton. Ashton were great hosts and played some excellent rugby in a really good spirit. I look forward to meeting them again next year .....Well done team

Dizzey had to ref and apart from a couple of incidents behaviour to the ref was first class !

Dizzey
