'Dale lose to Sedgeley
Rossendale u-14’s went down 36-17 to Sedgeley park but didn’t back away from the lose without a good fight.
The Dale lads put up a great display to capitalise on the previous weeks win against Widnes but two disallowed tries that looked good and a dubiously awarded one against them proved their downfall.
Scorers on the day were man of the match Sam Lowthion (2) and Jordan Hill with Sam Bedlow adding a conversion.
Christian Tonge put in a much improved player performance at full back with Joe Andrews and Mason Wells putting in other strong performances.
The Team play Rochdale at Meadowhead (Marl Pits) in the quarter finals of the Blacksticks Blue junior plate challenge next Sunday kick off 11am.
