Lost but Good Effort

I will keep it short:

Man of the match: Jacob (Attitude, effort, conviction, heart), Ash (Effort), Hugo (Try -about time, Tackling, Rucks, Ball Carrying)

It was a good game, and the run of play was not all Sedgeley Parks. There was a lot of errors in our play, really handing Sedgeley numerous advantages. Slow push in defensive lines and poor support cost us also. Playing very narrow and rushing back in to trouble without using the width of the team seemed to be the constant replay in the 60 minutes on the field.

Definitely some exciting Rossendale moments and a lots of possession either side, but ultimately Sedgeley made all the possession count and found the try line more often than not, and sometimes all too easily. Good efforts across the team just needing to pull a bit of thought and training drills on to the match pitch, get the ball wide, use teammates and do the simple things well. Two try's on Sedgeley Park isn't too bad actually and we have, in the past, come away without a single score and bigger score lines to them, so there's some real positives coming away from the game.
