Liverpool St Helens 17 - 31 Rossendale Senior Colts
Rossendale Under 19’s completed their campaign with a satisfying victory at St Helens last Sunday.
Once this rather feisty encounter settled down in the second period Rossendale ran out comfortable victors.
Their try scorers were Paul Hughes (3), Matt Jackson and Will Sharratt who completed the scoring with three conversions. The team has made progress from last season and despite narrowly missing out on their league title bid, their last four friendlies have proved that they can compete with teams from a higher level.
The club intends to run a senior colts team next season and despite losing a few players to university and being over age, they are looking to recruit players to strengthen their squad.
