Martin Lewis, Managing Director of Beta Group, started the business over 30 years ago as a manufacturer and supplier of spray booth and HVAC filters. The business has since expanded to provide a full range of maintenance services to commercial spray booth users.
Following a number of acquisitions, Beta expanded further by providing a range of building maintenance services and legislative testing for public, commercial and industrial buildings. Today, we employ over 50 members of staff, including a team of qualified engineers that provide electrical, plumbing and gas services. Our engineers are located across the country to provide nationwide, rapid response.

The Cotton House is a welcoming family friendly restaurant and bar situated in the heart of Helmshore. Owned and managed by two brothers; Marcus & Zak Yates who have lived in Rossendale all their lives. The Cotton House provides a great service to the community: good beers, cocktails, food and laughs. There are also various monthly events such as quiz nights and bottomless brunch. With lots of ambition, this is quickly growing in popularity as expansions to the beer garden and a second bar are in talks ready for 2024. It is a must visit for their legendary Sunday lunch!
