OH I do like to be beside the seaside, Rossendale travelled to sunny Blackpool, not for a ride on the `Pepsi Max Big One` but to run in two terrific performances from a team that is looking more like a solid unit in each game they play.
You didn’t have to travel to Blackpool for the evenings illuminations, the U8s of Rossendale had illuminated themselves, standing out in the two games they played.
Rather than a running commentary of the display, I noted that Blackpool have TEN thrill rides at the pleasure beach, Rossendale matched their thrills with the players matching the thrill ride experiences;
1)Charlie – `THE WILD MOUSE` – not knowing which way he will go,90 degree turns and speedy pace ,he will take you on a wild trip.
2)Cameron - Hold on tight, twisting and turning like the tracks of the `AVALANCHE`,- a must see.
3)Rory – `THE BIG ONE` - Fastest and scariest tagger, feel the adrenaline rush, experience like no other.
4)Oliver - `ICE BLAST –Feel the ultimate rush, ready to catapult himself up the pitch.
5)Marcus - `THE BIG DIPPER` - Has awesome runs. A host of twisting and banked turns, a classic and has it all.
6)Spencer - `STEEPLE CHASE` - Twists and turns jumping tackles, only one winner, fabulous and one of a kind.
7)Henry - `INFUSION` - Soaring to the amazing heights, a whirlwind experience that will amaze and estound the senses.
8)Shaun - `REVOLUTION` - Ready for the big rush, just when you think we`ve gone for the gigantic loop his wicked acceleration is launched.
9)Sebastian - ` VALBALLA` - Embarking on a journey through ice, fire, wind and snow effects breathtaking and tries thrilling.
10) 10 being the `GRAND NATIONAL` Rossendale romping home to two great wins that could be odds on a horse race 10/1 & 10/3
Winning the first game 10 - 1 with tries from Cameron (2) Shaun (2) Henry (1) Sebastian (1) Rory (2) and Charlie (2).
Second game won 10 – 3 tries from Marcus (2) Shaun(2) Spencer (1) Sebastian (2) Rory (1) and Charlie (2)
Another close call for the man of the match, but just edging it , Charlie Leah
WELL DONE YET AGAIN
