Two early penalties from Lewis Allen set the scoreboard ticking before a neat pick up at the back of a scrum by Ryan McKibbin and a well lofted missed pass from Allen to Curtis Strong created the space for the centre to put Matt Neary away for the opening try, Allen on hand with the conversion.
In a good spell from the visitors just before the break, a converted try closed the half with the home side 13-7 ahead.
A penalty from 'Park' cut the deficit but from then on the 'Rossendale machine' clicked into gear. A break down the wing by McKibbin, a pass inside to Allen who kicked ahead for Neary to pounce for his second, Allen again on target with the conversion.
Straight from the restart it was McKibbin again this time putting Jack Ward away for the third before the No8 rounded off a solid afternoon's work with a break and a neat popped pass allowing Nick Flynn to bring up the bonus point. Both tries were converted by Allen who closed proceedings with a final penalty..
Rossendale are at home again this Saturday to Kendal in a reversal of venues from the fixtures list
