The Yorkshire took the lead with a penalty from Chester but
Rossendale hit back in great style with a try from Danny
Harrison going over after Rossendale through twelve phases of
play sucking in defenders created the opportunity for the
outside centre.
The visitors were pinned back by a second penalty from Chester
with a try from Brandon Hannan, the No8 picking up at the base
of the five metre scrum to force his way over for a try
converted by Chester for a 13-5 lead
Just before the interval Rossendale came again and from a
mid-field break by Jamie Albinson Sam Lothian, up in support on
the outside went over for the Lancashire side's second. 13-10 at
half time.
In the second period neither side were able to wrestle any
advantage before a try by Morley scrum half Sean Dadswell taking
the inside pass after the Morley winger had fielded a cross kick
sealed the win in the home side's favour.
