Sandal attacked right from the start but an interception by Nutt off a promising attacking move brough first blood to the home side, the full back haring 60 metres to the line before slotting the conversion himself.

Sandal hit back with a try from Tom Burns from a scrum centre field and a neat popped pass to put the centre through, James Ellar adding the conversion.

A break by Tom Albinson brought up the full back's second, up in support of the centre and also adding the conversion.

Ellar slotted a penalty for the visitors before good hands across the line from a line out created the opportunity for Simon Frewin to coast in, Ellar again on hand with the conversion.

In the second period Joe Bedford made it safe for the visitors with his side's third try.
