Paddy Pole opened the scoring, playing advantage from a penalty
conceded by the visitors in a line out, cutting through for a
well worked try.
Tom Bedlow brought up the second off a mid-field break by Ryan
McKibbin with Pole in support to give the scoring pass, James
Bramhall adding the extras.
Bramhall crossed for the third up in support of a break by Jamie
Albinson with Danny Harrison in for the bonus score finding
space out wide following some great handling across the line,
Bramhall again on hand with the conversion for 24-0 at half time.
In the second period Burnage crossed for a try but with
Rossendale now well on top, a turn over at the ruck provided
the opportunity for the ball to be moved swiftly through the
hands for George Peel to go in from 35 metres.
