The visitors opened with a try almost from the kick off, Steve
Nutt going over after Rossendale had made the decision to run
two penalties.
The home side replied with a try from James Graham but right
from the restart Anthony Bingham ran the ball straight back for
a try under the posts, Nutt adding the conversion. Beverley hit
back with a try by Alex McPeak but a mistake by the Yorkshire
side at the restart allowed Bingham to chase a hack on for his
second, Nutt again successful with the conversion and with the
ball swung wide from a scrum in front of the posts the wing went
over for his hattrick and the bonus point, before Beverley
closed the half with a penalty by Ryan Murray for 13-24
Following a penalty by Nutt, a break by Jamie Albinson created
the space for Simon Walker to go in for the fifth, Nutt slotting
the conversion.
A try for the home side from Junior Tupai converted by Murray
narrowed the gap but two further tries from Danny Harrison,
backing up a break by Ryan McKibbin, and Jamie Albinson,
creating the opportunity with a neat wrap round with Danny
Collins converted by Nutt really sealed the win.
Although Craig Hancock managed to pull a try back for the home
side to get a bonus point it was left to Bingham to round things
off with his fourth try off some good handling in open play.
