The U13's travelled (again) for their Lancashire Cup final game against Waterloo to bright and breezy Merseyside. Rather more bright and breezy themselves than in the rain last week they seemed ready to right what went wrong.
As normal, early exchanges were tight but the boys started to assert themselves in the forwards, at half backs and into the wide channels.
Half time came with the Cup fixture won seven tries to Waterloo's one.
The friendly second half saw the home team cross twice more but with six more tries for the visitors to seal a well deserved victory.
Thanks to Waterloo for hosting an entertaining fixture. Thanks as always to parents for their continued support and travelling once more to far flung grounds. It's worth it on days like these though...
