First Win!

Well done boys First win in the bag and some great team play in the first and last quarters. Disruption due to injuries and players helping to fill the gaps in an under strength LSH team, caused a lack of fluidity in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Some really good individual performances and too numerous to mention here!

Try of the match was awarded to the whole team. A perfect scrum followed by a perfect ruck, followed by quick hands to the winger to score. Rossendale U12's at their very best.

Tackle of the match was awarded to Patrick. A crunching effort after the referee (me!) left Patrick in no doubt what he thought of the two previous efforts! Proof that Patrick was listening and was determined to improve.

Player of the match was Spencer. He really took on board the coaches feedback from and under par performance last week to shine against LSH. Good tackles, combined with strong running and most importantly, crisp, quick passing, typified Spencers morning. Well done!

Training next week and Burnley the following week. The games will be coming thick and fast from now on so we will need all of you on top form.

Special mention to Matthew. Perhaps unfairly penalised for one of his trademark tackles, his overall contribution to the team was great as usual.
