Rossendale U12s 0 - 33 Burnley U12s

Rossendale U12s played hosts to Burnley at Marl Pits on Sunday morning. Both teams started well, with some good running and defensive work. The Rossendale pack were dominant in the scrums, but Burnley had the edge in the midfield.

Dale struggled to halt the 2 big, fast lads through the centre and this proved to be the decisive difference between the sides, with Burnley scoring five unanswered tries, four of them converted successfully.

Rossendale’s man of the match was PJ Butler with good kicking game throughout the game.

There was so much that worked well today, but we need to work on tackling, which will be the focus on Wednesday.
