Rather than meet up at the club and travel in convoy, please arrive at Vale of Lune RUFC for 10am on Sunday 11th March. Address below, but please see below for specific directions for the day. Map and further details also attached to this news item towards the bottom.

Powderhouse Lane will be closed to traffic, this means you must approach the club from the Torrisholme Road side. In previous years we have had a number of complaints about cars parked on Torrisholme Road obstructing the bus stops. We have been advised by the police that although there are no parking restrictions on Torrisholme Road they may decide that parked vehicles are causing an obstruction. We would advise you not to park on Torrisholme Road.

Car Parking will be charged at £4 per car, this will include a programme with all the fixtures for the day.

Additional car parking will be available at the rear entrance of Lancaster and Morecambe College.

Please note that if you want to take photographs, all cameras must be registered in the Vale of Lune clubhouse prior to using them.

The first matches will kick off at 11:00 promptly and comprise of group stages followed by cup & vase knock-outs. Each match will last 2 7-minute halves. We expect the last games to be around 15:00, depending upon how far through the knock-out stages we get.

Bring the usual kit of MOUTHGUARDS (without one you won't be allowed to play!), maroon shorts & maroon/white striped socks. Also, please come equipped with a coat and track suit to keep warm & dry between matches.
